It’s really quite easy to add posts to this page. Basically you go to the WP admin, then click on the Posts tab in the sidebar to the right. It will then give you a list of all of the posts you have already written and also give you the option to write a new post.
In fact, this is exactly what WordPress was meant for! Here are some things you could add to this section to make it useful:
- Deep dives into positions – have a lot to say about a particular issue? Write a blog post rather than trying to fit it into a certain area of your website! The added benefit for this is that you can link a specific URL from the post into an email or something like that.
- Maybe you had a really great event? Write a recap of what you accomplished and the amazing turnout of volunteers.
- Have a lot to say about the current administrations views on COVID? Need to respond to the Florida governor with an official letter? Put the text here! It’ll be widely available and easily shareable on social media feeds.
This is a really useful area that we should definitely take advantage of!
